Ryan Leach
•        Ryan Leach started his racing career
at the age of 10 at a local track outside of
Clearwater, FL called Sunshine
Speedway. In his first year he raced in the
Briggs Jr. Novice class and immediately
came to love racing more and more every
time he was on the track. He continued to
work his way up through the Florida
karting ranks and eventually found himself
in the Nationals racking up many wins, fast
times, and podium finishes along the way.

At the age of 16, Ryan found his way into
open-wheeled formula cars when he
traveled out to Jim Russell’s Racing
School in California at Infineon Raceway
for his 3 day driving school to receive his
license to race. The next year he began
testing/practicing cars for a race team out
of Palmetto, FL. He was immediately
impressive and was looking at running the
Cooper Tires F2000 series in 2008 when
the economy took a toll on sponsorship
dollars and Ryan was forced to put his
racing career on hold and focus on school.

2010 came along and so did
opportunities. Ryan again began testing
F2000’s with Cape Motorsports and was
again very impressive.

Ryan's 2011 season was full of downs
then ups in the F1600 Pro Series. Only
finishing in 4 of the 10 races, he still
managed to finish 10th in the points
among a full and talented field. Leading
many laps in the last 4 races of the
season, Ryan finished 2nd, three times in
the last three races. Learning so much in
2011, Ryan will go into 2012 with a lot of
momentum on his side, and a force to be
reckon with. Training everyday, physically
and mentally, nothing will stop him from
reaching his main goal of racing
professionally whether it is in Indy cars,
ALMS, or Grand-AM. His plan's for 2012
have yet to be announced so stay tuned
for more updates!
